It’s all animals, all the time!
Our mission is to explore the animal world in ways that are entertaining, interactive and enriching; creating a safe environment to stimulate young minds and bodies. A cast of funny, furry characters help preschoolers develop a knowledge and affection for animals, leading to a lifelong love of conservation.
ZooMoo is a collaboration between some of the world’s foremost wildlife filmmakers and world renowned early childhood educationalists from the University of Otago, New Zealand’s premier university. Together, they have created a powerful package: a catalyst for learning that engages both children and their parents.
The ZooMoo program lineup comprises 1,500 self-contained shows, combining spectacular wildlife footage
with a range of puppetry, animations, and narrative techniques to create a unique viewing and learning experience for little viewers.
ZooMoo’s programming grid or schedule is built one hour blocks with five themed strands: explore time, create time, play time, puzzle time and quiet time. These provide consistency and structure, something educational experts stress is critical for learning and skill-building in young viewers.
The revolutionary ZooMoo Second Screen app opens a world of interactive activities, where the tablet becomes an extension of the television screen, enhancing the viewing experience. Children and parents engage in a world of games, puzzles and activities – a concept wholeheartedly approved by world-leading educationalists.
